Giant has 163 supermarkets in the region and about 20,000 employees. And now, those folks are on the front lines in the battle against Covid-19. They are among the essential employees who are allowed to take public transportation and travel around the state despite stay-at-home orders for everyone else. And they are important links in the supply chain for food, medicine and other essential products.
